Imre Molnár was born in 1954, in Sivac, Serbia. In 1988 he graduated in drawing and graphic arts at the Juhász Gyula Teacher Training College in Szeged. Since 1990 he is working as an art teacher. Besides his educational work, he works with graphics, paintings and drawings. He has been participating in the work of Serbian and foreign art colonies for years.

The artist is welcome to try his creative power in the micro-world of painting and graphics, with grand patience and precision he uses the different engraving techniques. Imre Molnár has no specific topics, often he generates ideas unintentionally in his drawings, but it happened that a particular daily event inspirated him.
