Biography
The graphical artist Domokos Gaál was born the 15th of mai 1940 in Budapest. As a scholar of Gyula Pap and Sándor Ék he gratuated from the Academy of Fine Art sin 1964. In 1971 his first individual exhibition took place in Budapest. He presented his works in Kecskemét in 1979 and in Szolnok in 1981. He went on educational trips to Italy, Germany, France and Switzerland. He participated at a group exhibition in the Ernst Museum in Budapest as well as in the art exhibition hall in Szombathely.
His artistic profile is mainly the graphical art, expecially etchings. He created a series of 25 etchings representing 19th century Budapest. He also did numerous book illustrations.
