"Visionari" - Italian contemporary art

The exhibition is based on the exhibition "Visionari, primitivi, eccentrici" on display at the Galleria Civica of the "Palazzo Loffredo" in Potenza, Italy (2006) and in its current version it is realised in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute, Budapest.



Through a dialog between tradition and modern Art (primarly realism and new-realism, symbolism and metafisical painting) thoughts like the possible passages between realism and fantasy, the nature of the vision and its role in todays Art, the picure of man and its image, the idol and the body, the natural and arteficial will be presented by 50 Artwoks of the following ten Italian painters and sculptors:



Francesco Balsamo, Stefano Canepari, Alfredo Casali, Patrizia Command, Pino Deodato, Ilario Fioravanti, Luciano Longo, Raimondo Lorenzetti, Adelchi Riccardo Mantovani, Giuseppe Modica.



At the vernissage, beside the Mayor of Potenza (Italy) there will be present: numerous exhibiting artists and the Italian curator - Laura Gavioli.
